بغــداد - نفذت قوات التحالف عملية لمكافحة الإرهاب لإلقاء القبض على قيادي بارز في تنظيم داعش خلال عملية في شمال سوريا في

16 حزيران/يونيو. إنّ الشخص الذي تم أسره هو صانع قنابل مُتمرّس ومُيّسر عمليات وقد أصبح أحد كبار قادة فرع داعش في سوريا.

لقد تم التخطيط للمهمة بدقة لتقليل مخاطر الأضرار الجانبية أو الإضرار بالمدنيين. إنّ العملية كانت ناجحة. لم يصب أي مدني بأذى ولم

يكن هناك إصابات في قوات التحالف أو أضرار لطائرات التحالف أو أصوله.

ستواصل قوات التحالف العمل مع شركائنا في قوات سوريا الديمقراطية وقوات الأمن العراقية والبيشمركة لمطاردة فلول داعش أينما

كانوا يختبئون لضمان هزيمة داعش الدائمة.
