SOUTHWEST ASIA – Since the start of their offensive to liberate Manbij, Syria, the Syrian Arab Coalition has freed a total of 344 square kilometers from Da’esh control.
The Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve has conducted more than 105 strikes in support of the battle to liberate Manbij.
The Syrian Arab Coalition is leading the operation and will be responsible for securing Manbij once it is freed.
Coalition advisors are assisting the Syrian Arab Coalition leadership with command and control from nodes located behind the forward line of friendly forces.
The Syrian Arab Coalition supported by Coalition air power have destroyed 108 Da’esh fighting positions, 31 Da’esh vehicles, 17 Da’esh heavy-weapons, two Da’esh weapon caches, and one Da’esh vehicle borne improvised explosive device.
The operation to free Manbij is part of the Coalition-supported moderate Syrian opposition efforts to clear Da’esh from the Turkish border and the Mar’a line. The goal is to limit the flow of foreign fighters and minimize Da’esh’s threat to Turkey, the rest of Europe, and the United States.

الهجوم على منبج
جنوب غرب آسيا- منذ بدء هجومه لتحرير منبج في سوريا، حرر التحالف العربي السوري ما مجموعه 344 كيلومترا مربعا من سيطرة داعش .
كما قادت قوة التحالف المشتركة -عملية العزم الصلب، أكثر من 105 ضربات جوية لدعم معركة تحرير منبج.
يقود الائتلاف العربي السوري العملية، وسوف يكون مسؤولا عن أمن منبج بمجرد تحريرها.
يساعد مستشارو التحالف قيادة الائتلاف العربي السوري في القيادة والسيطرة من نقاط التقاطع الموجودة خلف خط هجوم القوات الصديقة.
وقد دمر الائتلاف العربي السوري تدعمه القوة الجوية لقوات التحالف 108 مواقع دفاعية لداعش و 31 سيارة و17 سلاحا ثقيلا ومخبئي أسلحة ومركبة واحدة مفخخة لداعش.
إن عملية تحرير منبج هي جزء من جهود المعارضة السورية المعتدلة التي يدعمها التحالف لتطهير الحدود التركية وخط مارع من داعش. والهدف هو الحد من تدفق المقاتلين الأجانب وتقليل خطر داعش على تركيا وبقية أوروبا والولايات المتحدة.
