The Task Force Al Asad Half Marathon is being held in spirt and celebration of the 41st Marine Corps Marathon an annual race run through Arlington, Va. and Washington, D.C. A Coalition of regional and international nations have joined together to enable Iraqi forces to counter ISIL, reestablish Iraq’s borders and re-take lost terrain thereby restoring regional stability and security.
