The U.S. Army’s XVIII Airborne Corps, deployed from Fort Bragg, North Carolina to areas in Southwest Asia in support of Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR). CJTF-OIR is a 81-member global coalition, which works by, with, and through partner forces to defeat ISIS in designated areas of Iraq and Syria, and sets conditions for follow-on operations to increase regional stability.
