A British Army soldier decontaminate a civilian firefighter from the Kellogg, Brown and Root fire department, during a multinational base defense exercise on Erbil Air Base, Iraq, July 29, 2019. The complex exercise featured soldiers from the French, German, Hungarian, U.K. and U.S. armies, responding to a possible insider attack. The drill assessed the readiness of first responders through a series of mock chemical attacks and medical emergencies, and tested the base's communication to tenant units.
