SOTC-I advises, assists, and helps train CTS
Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve
Nov. 14, 2018 | 1:39
Special Operations Training Center Iraq (SOTC-I) advises the Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service's academia to become a self-sustainable school house, focused on producing adaptive special operators capable of conducting multiple mission profiles and thriving in the most demanding conditions. SOTC-I combines the help and experience of seven coalition nations and provides CTS instructors with direct access to the world’s most elite fighting forces for guidance and instruction. The Iraqi CTS Academia consists of three schools: Initial Entry Training, Special Operations Qualification, and Special Operations Advanced Training. Together, the Coalition and Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) will develop a sustainable and inclusive ISF that can secure its sovereign borders, protect the population and support a return to normalcy across the country and ensure the lasting defeat of ISIS.
