The Iraqi Ministry of Defense’s elite force, the Qwat al-Khasah, Arabic for Special Forces, conducted night live-fire training at Taji, Iraq Oct. 22, 2019. The QK specializes in raids, seizing, clearing and holding terrain for limited durations and conducting reconnaissance, counter-insurgency or counter terrorism operations. Coalition Forces are assessing the QK’s capabilities in order to conduct advise, assist, accompany and enable operations with the unit in the future. (U.S. Army video by Staff Sgt. Tom Conning)
