Brigadier General Kevin J. Lambert commissioned into the Infantry through ROTC at North Georgia College in 1993. Throughout his career, he has led Light, Ranger, Airborne, Stryker, and Armored units during combat and operational deployments including Operation Uphold Democracy (Haiti), Operation Joint Guardian (Kosovo), Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq), Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan), and Operation Inherent Resolve (Iraq).
BG Lambert previously commanded 2d Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment; 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division; and the Security Force Assitance Command.
In addition to command assignements, BG Lambert served as the Executive Assistant to the Director for Operations, Joint Staff; the 22nd Program Manager for the Office of the Program Manager, Saudi Arabian National Guard (OPM-SANG); 1st Infanty Division Chief of Staff; 3rd Infantry Division Deputy Commander—Support and Maneuver; and V Corps Deputy Commanding General forward based in Poland.
BG Lambert’s awards and decorations include the Combat Infantryman Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, and Ranger Tab. He holds a BS in Physical Education from North Georgia College, a MS in Physical Education from University of Georgia, and a MS in Strategic Studies from the Army War College.
BG Lambert and his wife, Shannon, have two daughters: AnnaPaige and Abigail, along with her husband Drew.
