Colonel Charlie Green was born in Yuba City, California, and was commissioned through ROTC at Newberry College in South Carolina in 2000. Throughout his career, Colonel Green has commanded at the Company through Brigade level including operational deployments to Operations Iraqi Freedom (Iraq), Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan), and Inherent Resolve (Jordan).
Colonel Green previously commanded the 92d Military Police Company (Germany), the 720th Military Police Battalion and Provost Marshal (Fort Hood), and the 8th Military Police Brigade and Director of Emergency Services (Hawaii).
In addition to command assignments, Colonel Green served as the 53d Commandant of the US Army Military Police School, Director of Concepts and Experimentation at US Army Pacific, Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor CSTC-A, CIG Director to III Corps CG, Military Police Field Grade Assignment Officer US Army Human Resources Command, EA to Joint Staff J-5 DDME, and Plans Officer G-3 ODO and OPMG.
Colonel Green’s awards and decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Parachutist Badge, and the Joint Staff and Army Staff Identification Badges.
He holds an MA from Webster University, MPM from Georgetown University, and an MA from the National War College.
Colonel Green and his wife, Jenny, have three sons and one daughter: Andrew, Luke, Elijah, and Allie.
