Building Partner Capacity Update

Sixty Iraqi policemen graduated the Italian Carabinieri Advanced Police Course in Baghdad bringing the total trained to 17,601.

Also, members of the Latvian Armed Forces (Latvijas armija ) joined the Danish (Forsvaret) contingency who are training Iraqi Security Forces at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq.

This week's building partner capacity update features photos of Iraqi soldiers participating in a building clearance training exercise at Camp Taji, Iraq, and Iraqi police conducting a training exercise supervised by Italian Carabinieri.

Training at the building partner capacity sites is an integral part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s multinational effort to train Iraqi Security Force personnel to defeat the Daesh (an Arabic acronym for ISIL).
