SOUTHWEST ASIA - This week's building partner capacity graphic features photos from Peshmerga soldiers rehearsing urban tactical movement at a training base near Erbil, Iraq; and Iraqi Army soldiers on the Non-Commissioned Academy’s Junior Leader’s Course (JLC) conduct a culminating activity as the final part of their training with the Task Force Taji at Camp Taji, Iraq. Training at the building partner capacity sites is an integral part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s multinational effort to train Iraqi Security Force personnel to defeat the Daesh (an Arabic acronym for ISIL).
