The exercise allowed trainers to evaluate the Iraqi soldiers’ combat maneuvering techniques. Training at the building partner capacity sites is an integral part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s multinational effort to train Iraqi security force personnel to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). A coalition of regional and international nations have joined together to defeat ISIL and the threat they pose to Iraq, Syria, the region and the wider international community.
