Peshmerga soldiers participate in a break from contact drill under the supervision of Italian trainers near Erbil, Iraq, Jan. 6, 2016. Coalition trainers in Northern Iraq have trained more than 6,000 Peshmerga soldiers in basic and advanced infantry skills. This training is part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s building partner capacity mission to enable the defeat of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
