Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve conducted 174 strikes this week, 128 strikes in Iraq and 46 strikes in Syria from Apr. 2 - Apr. 8, 2016.

- On April 2nd near Mar’a, Syria, two strikes struck a large ISIL tactical unit and destroyed an ISIL vehicle borne improvised explosive device (VBIED). 

 - On April 5th near Hit, Iraq, two strikes struck a large ISIL tactical unit and destroyed six ISIL fighting positions, six ISIL boats, two ISIL vehicles, an ISIL supply cache, an ISIL medium machine gun, and three ISIL vehicle borne improvised explosive devices (VBIED) and denied ISIL access to terrain.

 - And on April 8th, near Mosul, Iraq three strikes struck an ISIL tactical unit and an ISIL financial storage center and destroyed three ISIL rocket rails.
