Coalition members from 14 nations trained 17,541 Iraqi Security Forces, to include Peshmerga and tribal forces, to increase their capability to defeat Daesh (an Arabic acronym for ISIL). This training is critical to enabling Iraqi Security Forces counter Daesh as they work to regain & secure territory from the terrorist group.
