An update on the #CJTFOIR building partner capacity mission. 1,649 graduates increased the total trained to 17,541.

Recently, 823 Peshmerga soldiers graduated from a building partner capacity site in Erbil. Also, 826 local Iraqi police officers graduated from a law and order course in Baghdad. 

The building partner capacity program trains and equips Iraqi Security Forces and tribal fighters. Through formal courses, training programs include leadership, ethics and law of war, land navigation, basic medical training, infantry skills and small unit tactics. Specialty courses such as sniper, mortar, engineering equipment and counter-IED training are also available.
