SOUTHWEST ASIA - A Spanish trainer assists an Iraqi soldier, assigned to the 72nd Iraqi Army Brigade, with loading a .50 caliber machine gun during a combined arms breach training exercise (CABEX) at ‪#‎Besmaya‬ Range Complex, Iraq, Jan. 27, 2016. The CABEX validates the brigade’s ability to maneuver multiple assets across the battlefield as well as the ability to defeat obstacles such as mine fields, berms, locked doors, and windows while firing live ammunition. Training at the building partner capacity sites is an integral part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s multinational effort to train Iraqi Security Force personnel to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
