Weekly Strike update: Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve conducted 152 strikes this week, 104 strikes in Iraq and 48 strikes in Syria from Jan. 23 - Jan. 29. This week's strikes supported Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) in multiple cities, to include:
- 40 strikes near ‪‎Ramadi‬ supported the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) moving into the eastern suburbs of Ramadi as ISF reported clearing the city center of ISIL forces. 
In Syria:
 - 15 coalition strikes near Mar’a as vetted Syrian opposition forces retook several villages near the Mar’a line
- 9 coalition strikes near Ar Raqqah degrading ISIL oil infrastructure.
