Jan. 2 - 8, 2016 Strike Update

Weekly Strike update: Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve conducted 181 strikes this week, 142 strikes in Iraq and 39 strikes in Syria from Jan. 2-Jan. 8. This week's strikes supported Iraqi Security Forces in multiple cities, to include:
- 39 strikes near ‪#‎Mosul‬ as Daesh is pressured to move.
- 38 strikes near ‪#‎Ramadi‬ as the city continues to get cleared of Daesh terrorists by Counter Terrorist Service forces.
In Syria:
- Coalition aircraft struck six gas and oil separation points and two Daesh crude oil collection points near Dayr Az Zawr.
