WEEKLY STRIKE UPDATE: Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve conducted 158 strikes this week, 124 strikes in Iraq and 34 strikes in Syria from Apr. 23rd - Apr. 29th, 2016.

- On April 23rd near Mar’a, Syria, two strikes struck two separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed an ISIL fighting position, and an ISIL vehicle borne improvised explosive device (VBIED). 

 - On April 26th near Fallujah, three strikes struck an ISIL tactical unit and destroyed two ISIL mortar systems and suppressed an ISIL tactical unit. 

 - And on April 29th, near Mosul, two strikes struck two separate ISIL tactical units and destroyed three ISIL assembly areas, two ISIL bed down locations, two ISIL fighting positions, and an ISIL weapons cache.
