Southwest Asia - #CJTFOIR struck a major ISIL bulk cash center in Mosul Jan. 11. Depriving ISIL of financial resources is an essential part of the shaping operation to retake the ISIL capital in Iraq. Secretary of Defense Ash Carter spoke to Soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at U.S. Army Fort Campbell, who are preparing to deploy to train, advise, and assist Iraqi Security Forces fighting ISIL.
