BAGHDAD - Coalition service members responded to an indirect fire attack in the Deir ez-Zor region, Syria at approximately 5:51 p.m., April 10, 2023.
There were no Coalition casualties and no damage to Coalition infrastructure.
Maj. Gen. Matthew McFarlane, commanding general of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve, condemned the hostile activity.
"These attacks are reckless and needlessly endanger the people of northeast Syria,” said McFarlane. "This appears to be yet another attempt to detract us from our mission, but we remain firmly committed."
